Hi! I'm Ana, your wedding planner, and the founder of Something Blue Weddings.

I believe a wedding can be more than beautiful, it can be authentic. A day that actually feels like the two people at the center of it, not a version of a wedding borrowed from somewhere else. I have found that this starts long before the flowers or the seating chart, it starts with a strong design brief and a clear creative direction that everything else can be built from.

That belief comes from my background. With over 12 years in architecture and design, I am used to starting with a concept and building outward from it, so every detail, from the invitations to the lighting to the flow of the day, tells one coherent story instead of a collection of pretty choices.

My journey into weddings started with my own. Planning a celebration in Brazil while living in the Netherlands meant coordinating vendors across time zones, navigating two cultures, and designing an atmosphere entirely from a distance. It was complex, deeply personal, and it showed me exactly what couples need: someone who holds the creative vision and the logistics together, without losing either.
