A Modern Destination Wedding in Spain
Updated: Sep 7
Wedding Ana & Jaime - 2025
Some weddings stay with you long after the last dance, and this destination wedding in Spain was one of them. It was modern, romantic, cultural, and completely unique, a true reflection of the couple who chose to celebrate their love in Asturias, in the north of Spain, surrounded by the people who matter most to them.
From the very beginning our goal was to design a day that felt like an honest expression of who Ana and Jaime are. Rather than following a template, we started with a clear creative direction and let every decision flow from there. That is the heart of how we work. We treat each wedding as its own identity, with a design concept that ties the atmosphere, the details and the emotions of the day into one cohesive story.
Choosing Spain as a destination wedding:
the vision behind the day
A destination wedding gives you a rare kind of freedom. You are not only choosing a venue, you are choosing a setting, a landscape and an entire experience for your guests. For Ana and Jaime Asturias offered exactly the backdrop they were dreaming of: the family connection to this area, the nature and the view to the sea. We built the whole concept around that feeling, keeping it refined and intimate rather than grand for the sake of it.
Planning a wedding abroad also comes with its own set of moving parts. Different vendors, a different language, guests travelling from several countries, and a timeline that has to work across all of it. This is where a wedding planner who knows the destination becomes invaluable. With our trusted network across Spain and our multilingual team, we could bridge every conversation and make sure nothing was lost between cultures or expectations.

A wedding design that felt like them
Every element of the day was chosen with intention. The warm tones and choice of vibrant flowers came from both the personality of the couple and the wish to have a vibrant happy summer feeling. Nothing was decorative for its own sake. Each detail was there because it said something true about the couple, and together they created a wedding that felt personal from the very first moment guests arrived.
Weaving in culture and wedding tradition
One of the most beautiful parts of this celebration was the way it wove different cultural elements naturally through the day. After the ceremony, there was a local Asturian band playing the Asturian Bagpipe which connected all the guest to the culture roots. These moments were never forced. They belonged to Ana and Jaime, and they gave the wedding a depth that went far beyond aesthetics.
For multicultural couples, this is often where the real magic lives. It is in the small rituals that honour where you come from while celebrating the life you are building together. Bringing those traditions to life with care, and making every guest feel included in them, is something we love more than almost anything else in this work.

A day the couple could truly enjoy
Behind every calm and effortless wedding day there is a great deal of planning, coordination and quiet problem solving. On the day itself our role was to hold everything together so the couple never had to think about logistics. Vendors, timeline and the inevitable last minute details were all handled behind the scenes, which meant Ana and Jaime could be fully present with each other and their guests.
That, in the end, is what a destination wedding should feel like. Not stressful, not rushed, but relaxed, meaningful and entirely yours.
"Ana was honestly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. as the groom, I didn't really realize how much goes into planning a wedding until we were in the middle of it. There were so many little details and decisions, and Ana just made everything feel way less stressful. she kept everything organized but still made the whole day feel very "us" and personal. on the wedding day, she handled everything behind the scenes without us even noticing. vendors, timeline, last minute stuff… all sorted. We could actually relax and enjoy the day instead of worrying about logistics. having Ana there gave us so much peace of mind and I genuinely can't imagine doing it without her. would 100% recommend her to any couple who wants a beautiful wedding without all the stress."
